WHUST - the fan’s voice

Our focus is on West Ham fans.

We actively work with the club to ensure this is their main focus too.

Fans fill the seats, wear the shirts and consume the drinks and food. Fans pay for TV subscriptions that fund the premiership broadcasting deal that bankrolls football. Fans follow our club over land and sea. Hammers fans pay for everything at West Ham. The club should work for fans.

It’s not enough to sing I’m forever blowing bubbles. Our logo is a speech bubble and we will speak up for all Hammers’ fans. We will talk to the club at all levels. We believe in meaningful consultation and negotiation. We are pragmatic, not problematic. We will compromise if necessary and work with the club for long-term improvements for fans.

We will speak up for everyone, those who attend stadia in person as well as those who follow from overseas, in fact if you follow and love our club we are your voice. We are inclusive and will work with partner groups to promote wider involvement and engagement and to oppose prejudice and discrimination. We will make sure away fans are treated as we want to be treated when at away games both in the UK and overseas.

We will speak up for West Ham fans wherever we are needed – within the Football Supporters’ Association, to the local police, to Newham council, to the government and MPs, to the companies that run the London stadium, direct with the fans’ trusts at other clubs and with national and international footballing bodies.

And we will listen to you, our members. We are a community benefit society, registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. Members get to vote, join the board and hold the leadership to account and drive our work for you.

Get Involved

There are lots of ways that ordinary Trust members will be able to help the Trust achieve our goals. Specialist projects which the Trust undertakes will require large sub-committees to oversee the progress and input relevant skills. Regular members’ meetings will allow ordinary members to bring a whole host of ideas and skills to the table.

Engagement is the main way ordinary members can help. Having more Trust numbers strengthens the credibility and effectiveness of the Trust.

If you feel that you can contribute in helping us establish the Trust and provide on-going support and help, contact us at info@whust.org
