Radio 5 Live interview for the new season

WHUST Chair Sue Watson was interviewed this evening on BBC Radio 5 Live to give her thoughts on the forthcoming season.

She was interviewed on the 5 Live Drive program by Claire McDonnell who also happens to be a Hammers fan.

Topics discussed included Sue’s first match - 57 years ago on her Dad’s shoulders in the Chicken Run; her view of the London Stadium; ways for improving the atmosphere that Trust members are suggesting; the Under 23’s squad - and the Under 19’s beating Spurs 8-nil earlier in the week.

Claire said that we have a fantastic captain in Declan Rice and asked for Sue’s opinion of him.

Finally Claire asked Sue what would be the one hope for the season; for Sue to narrow it down to one thing. You can hear Sue’s response and the full interview here (5 minutes):
